The Cuppycake Song

Many years ago a friend emailed me a wav file of The Cuppycake Song. I thought the kid singing it sounded really cute. :-) While I was shopping in a store on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in December last year, a young man was playing the song and singing along with it over and over again on his cell phone. It made me smile. I thought that song would make a cute ring tone on my phone too! :-)

I found the lyrics to the song, and also the original version of the video of the kid singing the song on YouTube. She really is a cute kid! The quality of the sound on the video is not that great but I managed to capture the audio on another YouTube video that had the song accompanying the video.

And here's David Choi's acoustic cover version of the song. I think David has a pleasant voice, but I wished I could hear the guitar more clearly though.

The "CUPPYCAKE" Song (Lyrics and Music by Judianna Castle) is actually the chorus from Amy's version of "You're My Honeybunch" (lyrics and music by Judianna and Buddy Castle) .. The lyrics in blue make up the short version that was first uploaded to the internet in August of 1996.
