All these women were teachers and they have had sexual relations with their students. The most recent story about these teachers was that of Kelsy Peterson (2nd left, bottom row), who ran off to Mexico with her 13 year-old student.
Mary Kay Letourneau insisted her relationship with the student (then 12 years-old) was love. She had two children with the student and they later married.
You have to wonder what were in the minds of these teachers when they committed these offenses. I have no doubt that some were paedophiles praying on the raging hormones of the teenaged boys. Others probably showed poor judgment and succumbed to their sexual desires.
Whatever the case may be, they are a disgrace to the teaching profession.

I remember seeing some of these stories on the news. Mary Kay Letourneau and Debra Lafave were in the news a lot. The boy who Mary Kay was with was 13 and she was 29. When she was released from prison they got married. Maybe it really was love but still no excuse for having a relationship with a 13 year old.

In Northwest Indiana, Amber Kay Marshall, 23, worked as a teacher's aide in the learning disability classroom when she was arrested for allegedly having sexual intercourse with one student and oral sex with two students.
One 14-year-old student told police Marshall performed oral sex on him in her car and later had intercourse at a Super 8 Motel. The student also told police Marshall gave him alcohol while at the hotel. Other sexual encounters occurred at Marshall's home.
Daphne, it is indeed paedophelia. We don't want men to have sexual relations with young girls, likewise we don't want women to have sex with young boys either!

Brett, yes, Mary Kay married the student and had 2 kids. She did her time, yet she was rewarded for it. One network had a special about her wedding, and there was also a telemovie, something like.
